In the mobile app on your Android device, select Link your phone and PC. You'll be prompted to enter a code on your Android device.Ī popup window with a QR code will appear on your PC screen. It’s even great for non-Gm players who want to test run character concepts through combat.Note: If you'd like to pair your device without using a QR code, select Pair manually on your PC instead. The two apps together cover almost all the bases, and I haven’t found anything that does what I want better, so I’d recommend it. It would be amazing if there was an easy way to just import characters from there to here. Ultimately I end up going back and forth between this and RPG Scribe (which I use for character building, spell tracking, and individual loot/equipment). Still, the built in rolls are really, really nice, it’s pretty easy to keep all your campaign notes, encounters, and treasure together (but if you add multiple money pouches of the same type, be warned they share a value, and if you delete one, both go). It would be nice if there was an easier way to copy/move PC’s between campaigns and in/out of the NPC list. If you have an NPC that’s become a PC either use it from the NPC list, or create a new PC by hand (as far as I can work out anyway). There’s no easy way to do that for PC’s though. My current workaround is to not delete any encounter where I’ve made something new, so I can just copy it back in. I have discovered to my dismay that when I create a new monster from within encounter setup and save it to the compendium it disappears after awhile. A fantastic app now that I know what to do, the only thing it could use is even just a minor tutorial. It never occurred to me to just click on the picture of the campaign to enter it, and I apparently did it by accident the first time. Update: I have fingered out what happened. ![]() Please help, cause otherwise I just wasted $3 and have no more need for the app. I want to love this app so much, but I have tried everything to figure out what I’m missing, I’ve even reinstalled the app to get it. The app has no tutorials on use, the help page was ironically no help at all, and I just can’t seem to get back to the function where I can roll initiative, it is perpetually stuck on the “setup combatants” part of the encounter, and it doesn’t give me the option to roll or set initiative. Well, I exited out of the feature to try and add more creatures (I bought the premium version), and now I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the combat started again. So I was in love with this app for the first hour, building a ton of stuff for a campaign I’m running, and I was trying out the initiative/health tracking feature. This can be unlocked by purchasing the ad free premium version. The app is free to download but encounters are limited to a max of 6 combatants. The app will roll all dice twice and takes the lower of the two. Easy mode setting: For when your players are struggling and you don't feel like having a TPK, fudge your dice rolls to be lower.
